Oops Calorie

DRAFT FOR LEGAL REVIEW · VERSION 2026-08-01

Privacy Policy

How Oops Calorie handles account, meal, health-related, and usage information.

Information we process

We process account details, profile and nutrition goals, meal photos and descriptions, confirmed nutrition records, subscription status, feature usage, AI token and diagnostic audit data, and information sent to support.

Purposes

We use this information to authenticate users, analyze and store meals, personalize Coach Cal, calculate reports and streaks, enforce plan allowances, operate subscriptions, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

AI and service providers

Meal images, descriptions, profile context, and technical request data may be processed by Anthropic to generate estimates and coaching. Hosting, object storage, monitoring, communications, and payment providers process information as needed to provide their services. Google Play processes purchases under its own privacy terms.

Sharing and sale

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with processors needed to operate the service, when directed by the user, to comply with law, or to protect users and the service.

Security and retention

We use access controls, hashed passwords and session tokens, and protected storage. Meal records and images remain until deleted, account deletion, or an applicable retention requirement. No system is perfectly secure. Final retention schedules will be published before launch.

User choices and deletion

Users can edit profile and meal information and delete their account from mobile Settings. Account deletion removes the account and associated meals, reports, insights, and stored meal photos, subject to narrowly required legal or security retention.

International and age requirements

The final policy will state supported minimum ages, operator location, international-transfer safeguards, and jurisdiction-specific privacy rights before production availability.
